Young Researchers, a guided series of residences, concerts and performances, seeks to integrate a selected young artist into professional infrastructural and research environments. One of this year’s artist-in-residence is saxophonist and composer Lenart De Bock.The programme runs in co-production with the .abeceda institute. The artistic director and mentor of the Young Researchers programme is Dré A. Hočevar.

The band Hauptman, led by the academic singer and self-taught piano player Žan Hauptman, represents a unique freshness on the Slovenian music scene. He will present his newly released album “Finished, not perfect”, the title having almost cliche meaning for musicians behind it. The so-called perfection is represented by the path, not the goal. Žan Hauptman will walk us through a road full of soul, funk, hip-hop and R’n’B, which will encourage every listener to dance and experience the perfect summer relaxation.
