One of the most well known representatives of jazz and ethnic music in South-East Europe. Vasil Hadžimanov is a pianist, who graduated Berklee College of Music in 1995 and came back to Serbia in 1997, where he began his fruitful, creative and productive career. His ensemble “Vasil Hadžimanov Band” is fusing balkan ethnic music with Western genres (jazz, soul, funk). He is a member of many International ensembles, such as the critically acclaimed ensemble of the saxophone player David Binney. He works as a film and TV show composer as well and is a professor at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and Goce Delcev university in North Macedonia.
